'A' | Hampon, VA Realtor Headshots

Meet my neighbor, friend, and all-around fantastic person, 'A'. After hemming and hawing for ages she finally gave into the pressure and consented to some headshots :) Yay for peer pressure! Alexsandra works as a real-estate agent, but is truly a jack-of-all-trades... she's tri-lingual (or quadrilingual...I can never remember if she can speak 3 or 4 languages) ...she's probably one of the best landscapers I've ever met (she has a green thumb, knows EVERYTHING about plants and lawns)...is working on her master's degree...and...oh wait... she's gorgeous! Some people have all the luck, right? If she can sing then I give up... I'm just gonna have to move :)

Not really. I love my house.

'A' wanted some non-traditional, easy-going, lifestyle-type headshots for her business and I was happy to oblige! I dragged her out of bed shortly after sunrise this morning and we played around out in her yard.







Despite what I KNOW you're going to say 'A', these turned out beautifully because you take great pictures! No arguing!

For Brandi... Your Sneak Peek | Hampton Roads Family Photography

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing my friends and their families while we were on vacation.

Slowly but surely I'm getting to these sessions.

First up, Brandi...

I could write pages about each of my friends and how much they mean to me... and all the amazing things they've accomplished. I will not do that here. Suffice it to say, Brandi is an amazing woman and mother of two absolutely wonderful little girls. She possesses it all, intelligence, humor, looks, and a great groundedness that attracts us all to her. Now whether or not 'groundedness' is a word, I'm not sure, but I'm using it because it makes sense to me.

Fierce! | Professional Headshot Portraits

Before we left on vacation, I received an email from Laura. Laura is the older sister of Alys, whom I photographed last summer before her senior year in high school. Laura is entering her senior year of college and is a vocal performance major. Her specialty is... get this... opera. How amazing is that?! In this era of American Idol and American's Got Talent I think it's refreshing to meet someone interested in the artistic side of vocal performance. In fact, Laura's entire family is a musical one... Alys was accepted into a school of music where she'll study piano... and their littlest sister plays the viola and sings as well. I love artists.

In anycase, later this year Laura will be applying to some grad programs and needed some professional headshots.



How fierce is she?!



Laura, I had a great time with you! You are gorgeous in every sense of the word... Good luck this year in your final year of college... and in applying for that program up north! I can't wait to see how far you'll go :) This, by the way, is just a snippet... girl... you don't take a bad picture, I have so many to show you!
