This morning I had the pleasure of playing with gorgeous little Cassidy. At three months old she's not the curly, sleepy newborn that I'm used to working with, but... I think ... I have to say... I might like this age a little better!!

She was alert... she smiled... she played.... ** Sigh ** It was wonderful! Coming from a mom of two boys, working with this little girl was just heaven.


Doesn't she have the most beautiful blue eyes?!


She did a little sleeping for us...


...but more time awake and smiling and gurgling and talking...!

Thanks mom for coming over to play!!

Introducing Baby Kaleb | Hampton Roads Newborn Photographer

On Friday morning I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest baby boy. At first he wanted nothing to do with sleeping... he was much more interested in looking around and seeing what we were up to. Which... was trying to get him to go to sleep. But he eventually succumbed and we were able to get some beautiful shots.

You may remember gorgeous mom and dad from their maternity session.

Kaleb's dad is a firefighter... this was his one request. And the little guy fit PERFECTLY! I love this...

Baby Hailey | Sneak Peek | Hampton, VA Newborn Photography

Last weekend I got to play with a sweet baby girl... little Hailey. At just over 2 weeks old, she was sweet, pretty sleepy, and oh-so babylicious! I first met Hailey when she was still in her mama's belly, you may remember that gorgeous pregnant mama from a previous post :)

I'm still knee-deep in editing... but I picked a few to share with you so you can enjoy the babyliciousness too...







This might be my favorite thus far... but I'm certainly not done yet.

Sneak Peek | Baby Jayden | Hampton Roads Baby Photography

A few days ago I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable baby boy. At about 5 weeks old he wasn't the sleepy newborn we had originally planned for, but he was so much fun to work with nonetheless. And, in looking through all the pics, I really like the awake ones we captured... :)



This sweet boy LOVED his soothie! Noah was a soothie baby too.. for all of about 2 seconds after which he realized it didn't produce milk and then wanted nothing to do with it. I like his half-awake, soothie-coma expression here... it's so very newborn-ish :)



...and then he drifted off...



...and then he was awake...! He was very intent on checking out his surroundings...and keeping an eye on his mom.



Have I mentioned how much I love baby feet?! To nibble them is to experience bliss. Seriously. You should try it. But maybe on a baby you know otherwise the parents might freak a little :)
