Models Needed

If you're in the local area (Hampton, VA) and are willing to be my guinea pig for a few hours on Sunday, October 25th in the late afternoon... I'd love to have you!

I need a female (age doesn't really matter) and a girl about 10 or so... mother/daughter combination would be even better!

Time includes hair, make-up and a quick shoot in Yorktown... all total, you're probably looking at 2-3 hours. For your time (and guinea-pig status) I'll give you a few of my favorite images on a CD.

If you're interested, please email me: kassia@kassiareedyphotography.com and send a recent pic!

Thanks!!

Cheryl & Cody | Newport News Portrait Photographer

Cheryl contacted me to take a few head shots for a re-brand she's working on... she's a hard-working, successful mortgage broker... but I'm not going to post any of those pics :) I want the launch of her new branding to be the first time anyone sees those images of her...

BUT...

I did grab this shot of Cheryl and her sweet dog, Cody.

As I was leaving, I leaned down to give him some love...and he kissed me... once on each cheek! Awwww. He's cute AND a European at heart. *Love* that.

Until next time,

~ K

The View

If it's a beautiful sunny day, there's almost always a group of white sailboats out on the harbor. This day, though, they were joined by a few colorful boats...

The pictures never do it justice.

You can't hear the wind blowing...

... or the waves hitting the shore...

I love where I live.

In more business related news... September has purposefully been a slow month. I'm taking a bit of a break. Maybe the calm before the storm?

October is shaping up to be VERY busy. Almost all my Saturdays are already booked up...and Sundays are on their way to filling up as well.

Please, if you were interested in booking a session (and using those great Holiday Specials), please don't hesitate any longer... send me an email so I can get you in before they expire mid-November!

I have a fun family shoot scheduled for this weekend... so beautiful families coming soon!

Until next time,

~ K

T-Minus 3 Days...

...until my first baby goes off to Kindergarten...

He is so excited. I am so excited. I am nervous beyond comprehension...but would never let him know that....and if you asked me why I'm nervous I probably wouldn't be able to verbalize it..."Uhm. Uh. Kindergarten...bluh...blabber...scared...excited...big kids...big school...lunchrooms...blahdity...blah...bullys...ugh..." Make sense? Yeah, not to me either.

But in the end I know he'll do great. He's a fantastic kid. Truly.

So, to get ready for his big first day of school, we went to get his hair cut. :) I think it looks perfect.

*sigh*

I'm not ready for him to grow up.

Until next time,

The Noah... in his natural state

Why is it that crying toddlers are so dern cute?

Well, to look at. To hear... not-so-much...

Here is Noah in time-out.

He is none-too-happy. But dern cute!

Hope you all are having a good week... a long weekend coming up!

Until next time,
~K

Sleeping Boys & Holiday Session Update!

Just a quick share.

This past weekend we took the kids down to the VA Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, then walked around the Seawall Art Show in Old Towne Portsmouth. The sports place... eh... not really my cup of tea, but I loved the art show. Mixed media artists, sculptures, a lot of photographers... it was great.

And it wore the boys out.

Can you tell?

Also, I've updated the Holiday Session post with dates, times and locations! I am absolutely dying to see my beautiful holiday cards with your beautiful portraits showcased! Hurry, book now!

If you're on facebook... you can find the details on my facebook page! All events will be listed on the left side of the page :)

Until next time,

~ K

Yorktown Riverwalk

Earlier this summer, the family and I ventured down to Yorktown's Riverwalk to have some Ben & Jerry's and walk along the beach... it is a beautiful area and I can't wait to go back! I want to go on the weekends when they have their Farmer's Market...

This was taken right before dusk...

Hope all is well!

Until next time,

~ K
