Last weekend, in an effort to entertain the children on a rainy dreary Saturday afternoon, my friend and I took our kids to the
Children's Museum in Portsmouth. It's a great place where they can run around, touch as many things as they like... and maybe, just maybe, learn something too.
Well, I don't know if Trey learned much as he was running from one exhibit to the other pushing as many buttons as he possibly could...and then moving on. It went something like this...
TREY: "Mama! Mama...what does this one say?"
I would begin reading the display... then *swwooosh* he was off and running again...
TREY: "Hey Mama! Come HEEEERE! Hurry! Look at this!"
*banging, flipping, pushing*
TREY: "What does this one say?"
ME (reading): "The concept of static electricity..."
*swwwoooosh* Gone. Again.
TREY: "Hey Mama! OVER HEEERE!" "Hey, what does this button do? Can I take this home?"
ME: "Well it says here that if you push this...."
*swwoooosh*
Okay. You get the idea. And I didn't even add in Noah's pointed observations... "EH! EHHHHH! EH EH! EH EH!" So, by the end of the afternoon I was tired. So tired.
But here's a cool picture from the Bubble exhibit...
Yep, that's my boy, IN a bubble... :)
Until next time,
