Take Two | Hampton, VA Family Photographer

Our first take was right before Christmas on the beach... and it was so cold! And so windy! The kiddos were chilly and just about 5 minutes in, we decided to hold off until the weather warmed up.

...and then one of the coldest & snowiest winters in VA set in...

...and then there was more snow....

...and more cold...

...and more snow...

But then recently, the sun came out, the breeze was warm, and it was time! I saw Courtney outside of our kids' school and she looked at me... and I looked at her... and we both just KNEW.

Okay-just-kidding-not-really... she posted on my facebook page, "Hey there... the weather is getting to be perfect for photo takin' time!"

She and her hubby picked the perfect place and off we went.


What I love about this family... is that they kind-of remind me of my own family! Their children are roughly the same age as mine... In fact, this sweet girl 'E' is in my son's kindergarten class!


And this little guy, 'H', is pure energy. As soon as mom put him down when they got out of the car it was like, "zhhoooom!!" and he was off and running! He is absolutely beautiful and I love him even more because I was able to get my weekly cardio in while shooting him!


We had a great time together! I loved watching them interact ... and the whole family really is just absolutely beautiful.


And then, of course, we have to get mom & dad together ... by themselves!
